The deposit money cannot be used as a payment for the last final month rent. The deposit is an amount that is frozen for all duration of your stay and is reimbursed within 24-48 hours after you check-out and when you return the keys. The Management will have a thorough check of the accommodation for any damages before making the final settlement.
  • - Dotcoliv follows the auto renewal process if you do not give prior notice.
  • - The Agreement cycle is month to month basis (Ex- 1st Jan to 31st Jan).
  • - Rental system is prepaid.
Dotcoliv follows month to month rental system. So, if you wish to vacate in the middle of the month, you will be entitled to pay the whole month’s rent by default.
Rent starts from the booking date if the space is empty.
No, you cannot book & hold if the space is empty. However, you can book & hold the space if it’s occupied and you want to move in right after the existing occupant vacates the space.

  • - The minimum stay at Dotcoliv is 30 days.
  • - Ex- You moved in on 20th Jan so we will start counting from the 1st of Feb.
Dotcoliv follows a 15-day notice period policy. You should inform the management by writing in the WhatsApp group with the flat no and bed no.
It’s very simple, you will be paying the rent for the month in advance and we expect you to pay it on or before the 5th of every ongoing month.
For each overdue day of payment, according to the contract, you are charged with penalties. We request you to always pay for your accommodation on time. If the remaining payment is delayed by more than 10 days, the contract is considered terminated with the retention of the deposit as a penalty.
Security deposit is refunded within 24-48 hours post check-out after the management has thoroughly check for any damages. The security deposit will be refunded in cash or by bank transfer.
Security deposit money is not refunded if the 15-day notice period is not served.

  • The rental price has already included cleaning of bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and hallway, 6 times a week, but we really ask you not to forget to clean up after yourself and keep the apartment comfy.
  • You are to inform us immediately if you are not satisfied with the quality of cleaning. Support us by sending us the video/photo to our WhatsApp community group.
  • You will have to clean the utensils after use and wipe the kitchen surfaces, dining tables by yourself.
  • In our apartments, problems with the room members are rare, but if they have occurred, remember:

  • A simple walk together or a pizza dinner may be the key

Dotcoliv provides all its potential residents with an opportunity to see the room. In the last 15 days of your stay, we reserve the right to show your room to future occupants with or without your presence.

Yes, only with the Dotcoliv team approval.

Guests are not allowed in the apartment without the approval from Dotcoliv team. So, by definition even the overnight stay is prohibited.

There are multiple drying racks available in the balcony. And it is common for everyone.

No, you can only access it from 6:00am to 11:00pm

  • If the tenant does not pay the rent on time.
  • If the tenant fails to follows the rules & regulations or guidelines.
  • If the tenant uses or seen or heard of any illegal things such as drugs (which is banned in UAE) within the premises of Dotcoliv.
  • If the tenant fights with other community members.
  • If the tenant brings in the guests without any approval of Dotcoliv team.
  • If the tenant steals anything from the premises.
  • If the tenant is suffering from Mental illness and threatening to commit suicide or self-harm themselves which can cause discomfort and disturbance to other occupants/tenants.

  • Kindly ensure that the door is locked at all times whilst ensuring that the key is not on the door lock which may cause inconvenience to other community members.
  • Kindly ensure that all lights, AC, GAS and water outlets are turned off when not in use.
  • Kindly ensure that the Iron is switched off after use as otherwise it is a safety hazard to all.
  • In order to have a cleanly environment, we highly recommend not using your outdoor slippers and shoes within the house. Please feel free to use house slippers within the house.
  • Kindly ensure that your belongings are kept within your allocated space (bed, cupboard, shoe-rack, etc.) and ensure not to keep your items in other members places or in common spaces shared by the community.
  • It is highly recommended to store all your personal belongings within the provided cupboards and have them locked at all times.
  • If you see the hand-wash in the bathroom empty, kindly feel free to refill the hand-wash from the main bottle under the sink in the kitchen.
  • Kindly ensure that if any of the provided appliances in the kitchen are used to wash them after use and keep them in the drying rack.
  • Kindly ensure to wipe all surfaces used in the kitchen after use.
  • Kindly ensure only to take your items that have been kept inside the fridge/refrigerator and refrain from handling other community members items.
  • Kindly ensure to throw away expired items from the refrigerator and clean the space.
  • Kindly ensure not to use common utensils to store food, use your own containers to store food.
  • If you see the water dispenser out of water, kindly feel free to refill the water dispenser with a new water gallon stored by the dispenser.
  • Kindly ensure to always turn on the gas cooker exhaust when cooking to ensure that your food smell doesn’t spread to others. Kindly ensure to switch off the exhaust once done.
  • If you see that the dishwashing liquid is empty in the kitchen, kindly feel free to refill the dishwashing liquid from the main bottle found under the sink.
  • Kindly ensure when using the washing machine that only clothes are loaded into the washing machine and no other objects are loaded accidentally.
  • Kindly ensure to remove your washed items from the washing machine and place it in the provided bucket when taking the wet clothes to dry in the balcony, ensuring not to wet the apartment floor.
  • Kindly ensure to remove your washed items from the washing machine as soon as it's done, ensuring that the washing machine is available to all other community members.
  • Kindly ensure not to eat on the workstations (fold-out white table) and sofas.
  • Kindly ensure to wipe the dining table after eating on it to ensure the table is clean for the next community member.
  • Kindly ensure not to leave anything in the dining table after finishing your meal.
  • Kindly ensure to leave the TV remote on the TV console table after use at all times.
  • Kindly ensure to remove your clothes from the drying rack once your clothes are dried in order to ensure that there is sufficient space for the rest of the members to dry their clothes.
  • Kindly ensure you keep your shoes on shoe rack. No footwear on the floor please.
  • Kindly ensure not to hang clothes and bath towels in the bed, cupboard, privacy dividers, doors etc., please always dry in the balcony.
